I think that it may be undesirable to serve the Lord if there have been situations in that person\'s past that have discouraged him. Maybe that person has been made fun of or are just so weary that they just want to give up. God loves to put us out of our comfort zone also because He knows that it will all work out for our own good, but it will also strengthen our faith in the end. Most of us do not realize how important that is. We just care about what we are comfortable with. We do not want to look bad in order for God to look good, but this is the key to serving. By serving others, we are also serving God. We don\'t serve the Lord because we are scared of taking that jump for God. That \'jump\' will start our free fall to God\'s open arms waiting to catch us at the bottom, when all else is lost. God could choose to have others make fun of us or just ignore us. We may even lose a few friends because of our faith. We just need to remember that God works our EVERYTHING for
our good. (Romans 8:28) It is so important that we trust God with everything that we have, but I know that I have much trouble with this. I get home at the end of the day and see so many opportunities that I missed God\'s voice speaking to me. I know in my heart that I want to serve God, but I just didn\'t put those thoughts into actions. God also could give good consequences if we serve Him. We need to have faith the size of a mustard seed so that we can move mountains.
