Lately in the youth group i have been noticing a division.People have created groups and it seems like if your not in a group you dont seem to matter for much, and you cant talk to them or do much of anything without them talking or snickering behind your back. They only allow who they want in the group. They will ignore you make snide comments are look at you like your an idiot if you say anything to them they dont like, or even if you just say a simple hello. It seems that some of the most \"godly\" people there are a part of this. I thought we werent suppossed to be judging and im not judging any of the people who are a part of this but it seems as if they are to me and everyone else. Why is it that it has to be like this? Cant everyone be each others friends? Most of the time people at school treat me nicer than people at church. If it werent for a few people and the fact that i am learning about Gods awesome new wonders everyday i wouldnt come. No wonder new people
dont wana come. I wouldnt want to come either if i knew people wouldnt except me for who i am. Im not trying to point fingers at anyone or judge anyone with this but i think it should be brought to everyones attention. Why all be friends and love each other as Christ loves us?

i agree. i rember coming to the youth group and i thought it was amazing everyone was close but i dont know what happened people dont talk 2 eachether they only talk 2 the people they know best. last year when we got bak from georgia everyone was really close it was amazing. me and some of my friends were talking saying we dont know what happen maybe becaz the church got seperated in green bay but then someone brought it up that it wasnt only in the middle school but on sunday mornings i never thought of it befor but its true everyone was is in their own little groups there is nothing wrong with that but if we dont talk 2 the others in our youth then thats not right. also someone brought up that high schoolers dont want 2 be around the middle schoolers caz they thinks some of us are crazy and out of control so they dont want 2 go 2 some of the bible studys or be in the same class as us. yea some of us can get crazy but we all really love god u just have to talk to us i gess we all need to talk to people and get to know them. i have that promblem to so im not just pointing fingers at the high school caz middle school does it to. we all got to stop judging and be a youth group. we cant be a youth group if this is going on.
ReplyDeleteWhen I first started going there, a couple people were telling me about that, how no one is as close as they were. and it seems like it, too. everyone's filled with God's Grace and everything, but they don't seem to share it with each other. everyone's kind of created their own friend groups. which is fine, but we should all reach out more. there are other teens there that don't have friend groups, I'm sure.
ReplyDeleteOnly teenagers come across such circumstances and they do such type of things. things mentioned in the post are the reality, in practical life its absolutely true.Teenagers tend to do this under the influence of others and pretend to be the modest among all.
